Objectives of the Event:
Every year IEEE day is celebrated on first Tuesday of October month. This year JCE IEEE Student Branch celebrated IEEE Day on 15th October. The objective of this event is to make students aware of IEEE membership and its benefits.
Workshop 1:Artificial Intelligence using Raspberry Pi – Driving the Future
Mr. Prashanth Dhope, Assistant Professor, VTU Belagavi, conducted a hands-on session on using
AI with Raspberry Pi for automation and smart applications.
Workshop 2: GitHub Workshop
Prof. Kiran Tungal, Assistant Professor, JCE Belagavi, led a session on GitHub for collaborative coding and version control.

Expected Outcomes:
Entire ECE JCE family was part of this event. IEEE students along with the faculty members celebrated IEEE day by cutting a cake. Dr. Krupa Rasane and IEEE team of JCE highlighted the membership of IEEE.

Expected Outcomes:
• Students gained insights into the working and applications of aeronautical systems.
• Enhanced understanding of aerospace electronics and communication systems.
• Motivated IEEE members towards research and innovation in aerospace engineering.
• Strengthened collaboration between IEEE student members and faculty mentors.

Event Name: “FAREWELL 2K25”

Objectives of the Event:
The objective of the farewell is to express heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for the contributions and presence of those who are departing. It aims to celebrate the memories shared, acknowledge their impact, and offer sincere best wishes for their future endeavors. The farewell also serves as an opportunity to strengthen the bond among everyone present, creating a warm, respectful, and memorable send-off that honors their journey and legacy.

Expected Outcomes:
Fostering a sense of pride and accomplishment among the graduating students, while strengthening the bond between students, parents, and faculty. With the active participation of 198 students and over 300 parents, the event aimed to create lasting memories, express gratitude for the collective journey, and inspire outgoing students as they step into the next phase of their lives. It also showcased the department’s commitment to student growth and community engagement through meaningful celebrations.

Event Name: 6th International Conference on Emerging Technologies (INCET-2025)

Objectives of the Event:
INCET-2025 sought to showcase technological advancements, establish JCE as a research and innovation hub, and facilitate global knowledge exchange through the presentation of high-quality, peer-reviewed papers.
Expected Outcomes:
INCET-2025 is expected to result in the dissemination of cutting-edge research through its accepted papers, significantly elevate JCE’s research profile, and facilitate valuable knowledge exchange and collaboration among diverse participants, ultimately inspiring future advancements in emerging technologies.

Event Name: Inauguration of IEEE-WIE-AESS student chapter 2025

Objectives of the Event:
Main objective of the event is to inform students, faculty, and professionals about IEEE, its benefits, and opportunities.To attract new members and volunteers to participate in IEEE activities.outline upcoming events, initiatives, and goals for the IEEE branch or chapter.
Expected Outcomes:
At the outset around 58 students were attended the event.Overall students understood the benefits of IEEE and new IEEE ExCom members were introduced. Dr Shweta Goudar chief guest the event delivered talk on “AI and its applications”.

Event Name: 3-Days VTU Sponsored Faculty Development Program on “Advanced VLSI”

Number of participants registered/attended: 33

Objectives of the Event:
This program aims to equip faculty members with the latest expertise in advanced VLSI, focusing on ASIC design methodologies, an introduction to VLSI design, System Verilog, and UVM. A total of 33 participants registered, including attendees from nearby states such as Maharashtra.
Resource speakers from ekLakshya include Mr. Ravi Subramanian (Partner at ekLakshya Innovation Labs), Mrs. Sheetal Koti (Senior Learning Enabler), and Mr. Ganadhar Gandudi (Design Verification Engineer).

Expected Outcomes:
Faculty members participated actively, enhancing their knowledge in ASIC design methodologies, VLSI design, System Verilog, and UVM.

Event Name: Campus to Corporate

Objectives of the Event:
Main objective of the event is to improve students chances of securing employment by equipping them with the necessary skills, such as resume writing, interview techniques, and professional etiquette. To install a sense of professionalism, including corporate ethics, work culture, and the importance of punctuality and responsibility.

Expected Outcomes:
Event was conducted for 6th semester students to give information campus life and corporate life. At the outset around 166 students were attended the talk. Overall students understood the gap between academic learning and corporate expectations. And also, importance of Enhanced Communication Skills, Networking Skills, Resume and Interview Preparation and Professional Etiquette and Grooming. Overall students had good interaction with guest speaker Mr Sandip Ghorai.

Event Name: Talk on “Entrepreneurial Development & Small Business Enterprise”

Objectives of the Event:
Main objective of the event is to give awareness to students about Entrepreneurship, Identification of Business opportunities, Business plans, Institution supporting business opportunities.
Expected Outcomes:
Overallstudents able to understand entrepreneurship, essential Communication skills for their career, sources of business ideas, how to identify a business opportunity. Key characteristics of a promising business opportunity. Students got the knowledge about how to write a good business Plan and how to create a financial plan for your set up.
