About Event

The Department of Mechanical at Jain College of Engineering organized an expert talk on “Opportunities in the Indian Navy” as part of the Association of Royal Mechanical Youth (ARMY) program. The Chief Guest, Cdr. V.K. Kaushik (Retired Commander Indian Navy), was invited to talk about career opportunities in the Indian Navy. Sir highlighted the recruitment process for engineering graduates in the Indian Navy and recalled his experience during the Kargil war preparations. He urged youngsters to serve the country and challenges and facilities in the Indian Navy.
Prof.Sourabh Kaushik imparted information about SSB eligibility, preparation, and selection process.
Dr. J. Shivakumar, Principal and Director, encouraged students to participate in student activities such as technical, co-curricular, and sports to upskill themselves in all areas, while also emphasizing the importance of academic performance in achieving goals.
Dr. B. V. Hubballi welcomed the attendees, and Profs. Vinayak Nannoji, Pavan Padara, and Narayan Mannurkar managed the event. Students, faculty, deans, and heads of departments all attended the event.
