The Department of Chemistry started functioning since its inception in 2010 as a supporting department for all B.E. programs. It offers credit based Applied Chemistry courses for all the streams of B. E. first-year program and also, the open electives for students of higher semesters. We are actively involved in the co-curricular activities, research activities and article publications in the field of coordination chemistry as well as synthetic organic chemistry. The Department has a good infrastructure and enthusiastic, competent, and well-qualified faculty. The faculties have published many research papers in reputed peer-reviewed journals as well as presented their work in several national and international conferences.
The teachers are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and friendly. The course curriculum is relevant and offers site visits.
