Objectives of the Event:
In India Engineer’s Day is celebrated on 15th September as a mark of remembrance and tribute to bharatratna Sir. M. Visveswaraya, who is considered as one of the greatest engineers in the country. Sir is also known as the father is Indian engineering because of his enormous contributions and innovations in the field of engineering and development of the society. Prof. Praveen Y Chitti, Dean Examination & VTU affairs was invited as a guest for the event
& is headed by HOD ECE Dr. Krupa Rasane and coordinated by Prof. Ashwini.A.
Expected Outcomes:
Entire ECE JCE family was part of this event to honor and commemorate the birth anniversary of Sir. M.V. We recalled some of sirs best contributions and developments like KRS dam, State Bank of Mysore, Mysore Iron and Steel industry and many more. We discussed some of his moral ethics like punctuality, dressing sense, discipline in his work etc.
