About Event:
• The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in association with NIIT, Belagavi & AI for Humanity Club, JCE Belagavi organized “A 5-Day Hands-on FDP on Unlocking AI Potential for Effective Teaching & Learning in HEIs” from 28th July to 01st August 2025.
Objectives:
• The FDP also introduced with basics of Python programming and focused on using prompt engineering in the education sectors for teaching and learning, additionally the workshop also explored AI-based tools and platforms that enhance teaching, assessment, and personalized learning.
Outcome:
• The FDP successfully empowered faculty with AI knowledge, tools, and strategies for implementation in their teaching practice. Participants left with greater confidence in navigating the evolving educational landscape using AI.
• The FDP provided faculty with practical knowledge and skills to integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools into teaching, learning, and assessment practices, enhancing educational effectiveness in HEIs.
• The FDP was a great success, with participation from over 60 attendees.
