Mode of Conduct:Offline
Date:22nd August 2025
About:
The session “Hands on AutoML – Transforming Industry with Intelligent Solutions” is designed to provide students and faculty with practical exposure to the power of Automated Machine Learning (AutoML). With the growing role of AI in industries, AutoML enables professionals to implement data-driven solutions without writing complex code, making it accessible for a wider audience.
This interactive two-hour hybrid session will focus on applications in the mechanical industry—such as demand planning, preventive equipment maintenance, and defective object detection in manufacturing—using Microsoft Power BI and Teachable Machine as a no-code tool to demonstrate real-world industrial use cases.
Objectives:
• To introduce the concept of Automated Machine Learning and its importance in modern industries.
• To demonstrate the practical applications of AutoML in the mechanical industry.
• To provide a hands-on learning experience using Microsoft Power BI for AI-driven problem solving.
• To highlight how AutoML can be integrated into decision-making, predictive maintenance, and quality assurance.
• To build confidence in using no-code tools for implementing machine learning models.
Outcomes:
• Understand the fundamentals and industry relevance of AutoML.
• Demonstrate practical applications of AutoML using no-code tools like Power BI for industrial problem solving.
• Analyze and interpret AI-driven insights for effective decision-making in mechanical industry scenarios.
