The Three Minute Thesis (3MT), was first developed by the University of Queensland, Australia. In North Karnataka, Jain College of Engineering, Belagavi, together with IE(I) – Belagavi Chapter, is one of the first to introduce the 3MP [3-minute Project] presentation competition for the current BE students. Here, the students are required to communicate their project work and its significance, with the aid of one (1) PowerPoint slide within three (3) Minutes. However, the slide shall not contain any transitions (animation or otherwise), additional electronic media (i.e., audio or visual files). Max 4 Participants per team and if the team exceeds the three (3) minute timeframe, it will be automatically disqualified. Registration Fee per team is Rs 100/-.
