We are pleased to inform you that JCE Belagavi, through its Section 8 Company – JCE Innovation and Entrepreneurship Foundation (JIEF), has been selected as a Host Institute (HI Code: HIBIKR004252) for the MSME Idea Hackathon 6.0, an initiative of the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India, under the theme “Frontier Technology in MSMEs.”
We would like to invite students, faculty members, and researchers from your esteemed institution to participate in this national-level hackathon and present innovative, scalable solutions addressing real-world challenges faced by MSMEs.

- Renewable Energy
- Energy Efficiency
- Automotive Technology
- Industry 4.0 & 5.0
- Robotics and Automation
- Other Frontier Technologies (Additive Manufacturing, Advanced Materials, Biotechnology, Nanotechnology, Quantum, Space Tech, etc.)
Important Dates:
- Idea Submission Window: 27th June to 12th July 2026
- Host Institute Evaluation: 13th July 2026
What Participants Get:
- Financial assistance/grant support of up to ₹15 Lakhs per approved idea
- Mentorship from industry and domain experts
- Incubation and infrastructure support

Who Can Apply: All Indian citizens above 18 years of age (Individuals/Teams/Startups/MSMEs/Academia/Innovators)
How to Apply:
Participants must submit their idea on the official MSME Innovative portal (https://innovative.msme.gov.in/) and select Jain College of Engineering, Belagavi (HI Code: HIBIKR004252) as their Host Institute.
Mandatory Registration – Please Note:
It is mandatory for all participants to first fill the Host Institute Google Form below, regardless of whether they have completed the portal submission:

If any student is unable to complete the registration on the official MSME portal beforehand, they will be assisted and registered on the portal on the day of the event itself at our institute. However, completing the Google Form registration in advance is compulsory for all participants and is a prerequisite for participation in the Host Institute evaluation — this cannot be done on the spot.
