Jain College of Engineering (JCE), Belagavi, successfully organized the initial 10-day virtual phase of the Student Orientation Program 2026 from August 04 to August 14, 2026.

Designed to provide incoming freshmen with a comprehensive academic and institutional foundation, the program featured 16 dynamic virtual Google Meet sessions engaging over 150+ students per session.

Key Highlights of the First Phase:

• Academic & Institutional Vision: Comprehensive orientation on VTU academic regulations, engineering college culture, and student council activities.
• Emerging Skills & Literacy: Focused masterclasses on Ethical AI usage (Yuva AI), Energy Literacy, and NISM Financial Literacy.
• Department-Specific Insights: Tailored technical orientations conducted by Heads of Departments across CSE, AI&ML, ECE, EEE, Civil, and Mechanical Engineering.
• Career Readiness & Core Values: Strategic sessions on Universal Human Values (UHV), Skill Development, and Campus Placement pathways.

With the foundational phase concluding on an inspiring note, our first-year students are now well-oriented, energized, and ready to dive into the upcoming two weeks of hands-on induction activities!
