About Event

On the occasion of Teacher’s Day, 5th Sept 2026, the Department of Mechanical Engineering in association with UHV Cell and ISTE organized a one-day faculty visit to Brahma Kumaris Silence Valley Retreat Center. The visit was organized to provide faculty members a break from routine academic life and an opportunity for self-reflection, inner peace and spiritual rejuvenation. The Brahma Kumaris center, known for its serene, silence-based environment, Rajyoga meditation and value-based life skills, provided a perfect setting for teachers to introspect on their role as mentors and nation builders. The program included guided meditation session, talk on stress-free lifestyle, interaction on work-life balance, and tour of the eco-friendly, sustainable model of the retreat center. The visit was aligned with Universal Human Values (UHV) – Harmony in Self and Harmony with Nature.
