The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Jain College of Engineering, Belagavi, organised an Awareness Session on “Using Virtual Lab” on 03rd October 2026 for the 5th Semester EEE students. Prof. Ashok Bajantri organised the session to raise awareness among students about the effective use of Virtual Labs as a digital platform for conducting experiments and enhancing practical learning. Mr.Taheer Coordinated the session
During the session, students were introduced to the features and applications of Virtual Labs, including accessing experiments, understanding experimental procedures, performing simulations, recording observations, and interpreting results. The session highlighted how Virtual Labs can complement conventional laboratory experiments by allowing students to learn and practice concepts in an interactive, simulation-based environment.
The session was beneficial in developing students’ interest in technology-enabled learning and strengthening their practical understanding of electrical and electronics engineering concepts. Students actively participated in the session and gained awareness of how Virtual Labs can be utilized for experimentation, self-learning, concept visualisation, and revision. The session also encouraged students to make effective use of digital learning resources to enhance their academic and laboratory skills.
The interactive session enabled students to clarify their doubts regarding placement preparation, career planning, and emerging industry trends. The programme concluded with an engaging question-and-answer session, followed by a vote of thanks by Prof. Ashok B. expressing gratitude to the resource person, dignitaries, faculty members, and students for making the event successful. Overall, the event proved to be highly informative and beneficial, equipping the students with practical guidance and motivation for their future careers.
