Jain College of Engineering (JCE), Belagavi, successfully organized AVINYA–2026, the Annual Project Exhibition, and KAGADA–2026, the Annual Project Poster Presentation, on 16th October 2026. The events provided an excellent platform for students to showcase their technical knowledge, innovative ideas, creativity, and research potential.
The events witnessed the presentation of 157 student projects, reflecting the spirit of innovation, teamwork, and practical problem-solving among students. A notable achievement was the submission of 11 projects for patent applications, highlighting the institution’s commitment to fostering innovation, research, and intellectual property development.
The projects were evaluated by a panel of distinguished academicians and industry experts, who assessed the students’ work based on innovation, technical merit, practical applicability, creativity, and potential societal impact. The evaluation process encouraged students to refine their ideas and explore solutions to real-world engineering and technological challenges.
The award ceremony was graced by Dr. J. Shivakumar, Principal and Director; Dr. Rajashekhargouda C. Patil, Dean Academics; and Dr. Anand K. Hosamani, Central Project Coordinator, along with the Heads of Departments and Project Coordinators. Their presence and encouragement motivated students to pursue excellence in innovation, research, and project development.
Outstanding projects were recognized and felicitated with trophies and cash prizes in appreciation of the students’ exceptional efforts, technical accomplishments, and innovative thinking.
AVINYA–2026 and KAGADA–2026 reaffirmed Jain College of Engineering’s commitment to experiential learning, interdisciplinary collaboration, research-driven education, and nurturing future-ready engineers. The events served as a testament to the creativity and capabilities of JCE students and strengthened the institution’s vision of promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, and technological advancement for the benefit of society.
