Greetings from the department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI&ML). The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning) has an intake of 60 and is Approved by AICTE, New Delhi & Affiliated to VTU, Belagavi. Since its inception in 2023 , the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) offers a four-year undergraduate program designed to provide students with a solid foundation in computer science, with a specialized focus on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Since its inception, the program has consistently attracted top engineering aspirants from across the state and the country.The department will feature renowned faculty members with extensive academic experience, supported by NVIDIA’s Deep Learning Institute, developer program tools, and collaboration with industry experts from India and abroad.
Artificial intelligence and Machine learning(AI&ML) areas are the branches of Computer Science and rapidly growing technologies, used to create intelligent systems that can simulate human thinking capability and behavior across service and non-service sectors. In other words, AI&ML enables the Computer to mimic the human brain in terms of making decisions accurately without manual intervention.
The department boasts a robust infrastructure that supports a comprehensive range of academic, research, and extracurricular activities, ensuring the holistic development of its students. A Wi-Fi enabled campus provides a conductive environment for focused academic pursuits in a serene and expansive setting. To enrich the learning experience, the department regularly organizes hands on workshops, experts talk, Ideathon / hackathon events, and faculty development programs aimed at forecasting continuous growth and innovation among students and faculty members. With a commitment to academic excellence and research innovation, the department encourages students and researchers to undertake cutting-edge projects in the field of AI&ML. Our goal is to deliver quality education and services that meet the evolving demands of the technical education sector, industry, and society at large.This course helps to explore concepts such as AI, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Image Processing, Virtual Reality and IoT and its applications. The #Notable Alumnus of JCE

The Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) department at Jain College of Engineering Belagavi is a great place to learn and grow. The department gives students lots of chances to join hackathons and tech events, where they can work on real problems, learn new skills, and meet people from the industry. These activities make learning fun and practical. The teachers are amazing they know their subjects well and teach in a way that’s easy to understand. They mix theory with hands-on projects, helping students master tough topics like coding languages, mathematics, and software development. They’re always ready to help, which makes classes interesting and motivates students to do their best. Dr. Uttam Patil, the head of the department, is very supportive. Pushing his students to balance studies with events like coding competitions and workshops. This encouragement makes students feel confident to try new things and take charge of their learning. The department has a friendly and positive vibe. Students work together in study groups, labs are interactive, and everyone feels included. With modern labs, up-to-date courses, and a focus on teamwork, the department prepares students for jobs, higher studies, or starting their own tech projects. It’s a place where you learn not just books but also how to be a good professional and team player. The department also organises many di erent cultural events that are very much needed between the exhausting coursework, assignments and exams.
