The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) is a public trust established in 2006 by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the regulator of the securities markets in India. The institute carries out a wide range of capacity building activities at various levels aimed at enhancing the quality standards in securities markets.
Objectives of the Letter of Understanding : NISM has been carrying out a wide range of capacity building activities aimed at enhancing quality standards in the securities markets and for increasing participation therein, addressing various stakeholders of securities markets, keeping in view its purpose, as mentioned below:
1. The students who wish to pursue their career in the financial market would largely benefit if they study securities market subjects .
2. Train the students about the securities markets subjects and help them to get the NISM Certificates which will enhance their knowledge and employability .
