The above panel discussion was organized by IIC team, to emphasize the significance of the Govt. initiative towards self reliant India. The discussion was chaired by Dr. PL. Ramkumar of IITRAM, Ahmedabad & Dr. Abhishek Kumar of Pandit Deendayal Energy University, Gandhinagar. The session was moderated by Dr. Sanjeev Sangami & Dr. M. Sreedhar Babu of JCE, Belagavi. The discussion stressed the need for innovation at higher education level and equal support from industry end for upliftment of younger generation in achieving employment and also for accomplishment of Aatmanirbhar Bharat.

Expected Outcomes:
The panel discussion was an awakening experience. The concept of Aatmanirbhar Bharat towards achievement of self reliance in the context of economy, infrastructure, system, demography and demand was realized. The possibility of Indian toy manufacturing as compared to China was also exhaustibly analyzed. The possibility of promoting cotton industry for healthier India was also raised and the dependence on fabric as imports was realized.
