HACKitON 3days Workshop. Chief Guest Dr. Satish Annigeri Registrar (Evaluation) VTU, Belagavi during his address in the inaugural function mentioned that HacITon is the first of its kind event to be organized in any college in the region of North Karnataka under VTU. He emphasized that such events come closest to testing a candidates capabilities of handling challenges in the workplace.
HackITon goal was to bring out the creativity of the students and boost their confidence. The students were expected to solve some of the complex problem statements in the span of just 3 days. There were 32 teams from at least 7 different colleges and also the teams were interdisciplinary, comprising students from different engineering backgrounds on 27/04/2019.
