On 17th February 2026, Dr. Sanjeev Sangami , Dean (ICE) and Dr. Mithun B M , HOD, Civil Engineering JCE Belagavi had the privilege of visiting Olam Sugars, Belagavi as Expert Members for the site inspection of the Water Conveyance System.
The visit involved a detailed technical review of the existing water conveyance infrastructure, assessment of operational efficiency, sustainability measures, and evaluation of system performance with respect to industrial requirements and environmental compliance.
Such industry engagements strengthen the bridge between academia and industry, enabling practical insights, knowledge exchange, and collaborative problem-solving. It was an enriching experience to contribute technical expertise toward optimizing water management systems in the industrial sector.
