About Event

The Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Jain College of Engineering, Belagavi, organized its annual departmental event NAVYA-2025 on 27th September 2025. The event was conducted in the presence of the Principal and Director, faculty members, parents, and students.The program commenced with the JGI prayer, followed by the welcome address and the lighting of the lamp ceremony by dignitaries, signifying knowledge and positivity.
The Chief Guest Er. Chandrashekhar, Executive Engineer, HESCOM Hubballi, addressed the gathering with inspiring words.The event included award presentations, recognizing student achievers for their outstanding performances in academics and extracurricular activities. A blend of cultural performances such as songs, shayari, and dance by students added vibrancy and enthusiasm to the celebration.Dr.Venkatratnam Chitturi, Head of the Department’s presentation highlighted the department’s milestones, achievements, and vision for the future. A unique feature of the event was the Parents’ View session, which gave parents a platform to share their experiences and suggestions, further strengthening the bond between the department and families.
The program concluded with the Presidential Remarks by the Principal Dr. J Shivakumar, and a vote of thanks, marking the end of a memorable celebration.Overall, NAVYA-2025 served as a platform for academic recognition, cultural expression, and community interaction, contributing to the holistic development of students while reinforcing the values of teamwork, leadership, and excellence.

Objectives
• To encourage interaction among students, faculty, parents, and dignitaries for holistic development.
• To recognize and reward student achievements in academics and extracurricular activities.
• To build confidence, leadership, and teamwork through organizing and participating in cultural events.
• To foster a sense of belongingness, pride, and motivation among students towards the department and institution.

Outcomes of the Session
• Students gained confidence, stage presence, and cultural exposure by participating in the event.
• The event helped in developing team spirit, coordination, and organizational skills among volunteers and participants.
• Recognition of students’ efforts through awards and appreciation enhanced motivation for future endeavours.
