About Event

Quiz Competition was conducted for Mechanical Students under BIS Club on Sustainable Development goals to Celebrate World Standards Day on 7th Oct 2024. Dr. Praveen Chitti, Dean VTU affairs attended the event.

Objectives:
• To enhance students’ understanding of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and their relevance to mechanical engineering.
• To emphasize the role of global standards in achieving sustainable development.
Outcomes:
• Students deepened their awareness of SDGs and their impact on engineering practices.
• Encouraged active student involvement in aligning engineering solutions with sustainability goals.
