A MoU was signed between Hitesh Lahoti & Associates & Jain College of Engineering on 23rd August 2022. As an activity under this MoU a seminar on Application of Software’s in Civil Engineering was organized by Department of Civil Engineering on 09/11/2022.

Summary:
Er. Hitesh Lahoti addressed 5th & 7th semester students and explained them the need and importance of various drafting & designing software’s used in Civil Industry. He stressed upon the use of STAAD PRO connect version which is new in the industry. He also highlighted the application of BIM and the job opportunities available in the Industry. The speaker also educated students on Structural Detailing & its importance. About 100 students attended this session and actively interacted with the key note speaker.

- Students understood the application and importance of various software’s.
- Students understood the use of learning software’s to become Industry competent.
