Site Visit Details
Raja Lakhamagouda dam, also known as Hidkal dam, is a dam constructed across the Ghataprabha River in the Krishna River basin.
Students got an in-depth knowledge of all Dam components & its auxiliary structures . They also visited the drainage gallery of the dam. Further students visited the Ghataprabha Left Bank Canal & Ghataprabha Right Bank Canal and studied the water distribution network.
