As per Jain College of Engineering tradition a welcome function for the MBA, MCA and M.Tech batch of 2021 was organized by Jain College of Engineering on 18th January 2021 at JCE Auditorium. The function had an auspicious beginning with JGI Prayer.
Dr.Raju Kotambari, HOD – MCA department welcomed the gathering. The welcome was followed by the Lighting of the lamp to mark the inauguration of the function by the Chief Guest, students, parents and the dignitaries on the dais.
Dr. S Rohitraj introduced the chief guest Dr. K S Mane, Orthopedic Surgeon, Lakeview Hospital and spoke about his achievements and shared the word of appreciation received by the Patients handled by Dr.Mane. He also said as a Corona Warrior Dr.Mane deserves to be the Chief Guest and an ideal example of a passionate professional.
Chief Guest of the day Dr. K S Mane spoke about his experiences and struggles which he and his staff underwent during the time of pandemic and also told the importance of compassion towards the society and even he guided all the PG students as to how they can be committed and compassionate towards their family, society and country.
Dr. K G Vishwanath, Principal and Director Jain College of Engineering guided the students to focus on their studies and excel in the career. He urged the students to be professional in their approach towards life and contribute to the betterment of the society.
Prof. R.G.Dharwadkar, Director Jain College of Engineering, Belagavi in his Presidential remarks stated that the students have taken a step towards the right decision and ensured that support will be provided to reach their goal and make them successful. He even said that, our aim is to provide the highest quality of educational experience and to ensure that our students are well equipped for their career professionally, intellectually and culturally.
Prof.Faiz Raut proposed Vote of Thanks. The Event MOC’s were Prof. Rashmi Harti and Prof. Minal.
The parents of fresh batch of students who graced the function left with pride for having been a part of this prestigious institution which is indeed a jewel in the crown among the MBA,MCA and M.Tech colleges in Belagavi.
